Base31, Prince Edward County

In December 2021, PEC Community Partners Inc. purchased the Loch-Sloy Business Park, an approximately 750-acre property in Prince Edward County, Ontario, and the former site of a World War II training base. In its next chapter, the site will serve as home to one of the country’s largest mixed-use development communities. In May 2022, the former base was renamed and has reopened as Base31: A destination in progress for art, culture, community, and events. In Q1 2024, the Prince Edward County Council approved the Official Plan Amendment allowing for up to 7500 residential units along with and commercial development on the site. PEC Community Partners Inc. is a group of community builders including Tercot Communities, DECO Communities, PEC Placemaking, and Rockport Group. Learn more at base31.ca
